New Hyatt Promo: Double Points Plus Double Elite Qualifying Nights At All-Inclusives

The hotel business is back, baby! With hotel occupancy and rates up, hotels haven’t needed to be as generous to put heads into beds. We haven’t seen a systemwide Hyatt promotion in awhile. Instead we’ve seen offers limited to certain partnerships, cities or hotels where they were looking to goose business.

With summer ending, kids going back to school, and corporate travel not yet fully returned Hyatt is out with a new offer. It’s not as generous systemwide as what we’ve seen in the past, but it’s something, and it includes a kicker to push awareness and program engagement with their new broad portfolio of all-inclusive properties.

  • Register by November 15, 2022 and stay September 15, 2022 – December 20, 2022

  • Earn double points on stays of 2 or more nights (including at participating MGM Rewards and SLH Hotels plus Lindblad Expeditions), up to a maximum of 60,000 bonus points (after $12,000 spend).

  • Double elite qualifying nights on all-inclusive stays at Hyatt Ziva, Hyatt Zilara, Zoetry Wellness Spa & Resorts, Secrets Resorts & Spas, Breathless Resorts & Spas, Dreams Resorts & Spas, Alua Hotels & Resorts, and Sunscape Resorts & Spas. A property needs to be participating in the World of Hyatt program in order to earn double qualifying nights.

Double points stacks not just with regular points-earning but with Hyatt’s American Airlines mutual earning partnership for elites which also counts towards American Airlines status.

I don’t love restricting double points to two night stays and longer, but it’s better than the penchant of some chains to only start bonus earning with your second stay during the promotion period. Regardless, this is weak compared to historical bonuses but strong compared to what we’ve seen the past few months!

You should register now for this offer even if you don’t expect any Hyatt stays during the promotion period, because you might wind up at one unexpectedly (perhaps getting stuck at an airport overnight somewhere) and you’ll never remember to register later. So register and get it over with so you don’t leave points on the table.
