Mark Cuban’s Lifetime American Airlines Travel Pass [Roundup]

News and notes from around the interweb:

  • Loyalty Wallet ending September 6 so no more account tracking or transfers between programs
  • American Airlines names a new CIO to replace the inestimable Maya Leibman.

  • Live Data: how full is each British Airways lounge at London Heathrow?

  • Singapore Airlines testing increased free internet

  • Mark Cuban famously bought an American Airlines lifetime AAirpass after selling his first company, MicroSolutions, for $6 million in 1990. After selling in 1999 he bought a $40 million Gulfstream V (the single largest online purchase at the time). So I wonder if he is confused here talking about using his American Airlines flight pass to fly to Moscow, since American didn’t start Chicago – Moscow service until 2008 if I recall correctly.

  • United brings back its LA – San Diego flights.

Good catch by ⁦@airmarietta⁩ and ⁦@AilevonPacific⁩. This cut received more than its share of coverage a couple of months ago. Now, apparently, it’s back?
