Lots of credit card news this week!
80k bonus on Lufthansa Credit Card: This card by Barclays currently has 80k bonus points after spending $3000 in the first 90 days. This card isn’t in our affiliate network, and I don’t recommend it as one of the first cards to get. However, for folks who are running out of new sign-up bonuses, this could be a good one to get. See this post on One Mile at a Time. I would be tempted to get this card, but I am at 6/24 and therefore Barclays would likely not approve me.
$200 Cashback Bonus on Citi Double Cash Card Ending Soon: The sign-up bonus on the Citi Double Cash Card is ending soon. See my original post here.
Flying Blue Adding Free Stopovers on Award Tickets: I used Air France Flying Blue miles to book my family flights to Europe last summer and this upcoming summer. Soon, it appears we will have the opportunity to add a free stopover. See this post on One Mile at a Time. I know many in this hobby love stopovers (which is why Alaska miles are valued so highly)…but I’ve never used one.
Barclaycard Arrival Plus Adds Transfer Partners: The Barclaycard Arrival Plus card recently added airline transfer partners. This card is not open to new applications, but this move definitely makes us wonder if the card will be revamped and reintroduced soon. I owned this card back in the day.
Staples fee-free $200 MC Gift Cards: Starting Sunday, Staples is once again offering fee-free $200 Mastercard gift cards. If you have a Chase Ink card with 5X points at office supply stores, this is a great deal! I’ve used these cards to pay down my Royal Caribbean cruise. See this post on Frequent Miler.
Enjoy your weekend!
